Minnow designs and manufactures beautiful, functional light shades in Waihi Beach, New Zealand. We use renewable, sustainable, recyclable and reclaimed materials. The light shades are hand crafted by Victoria. We also engage local firms to manufacture our custom made components.

Our light shades are made using plantation grown, renewable New Zealand pine and macrocarpa veneer. The other components are made from turned copper, laser cut bamboo and reclaimed copper wire.



By using local people, we can not only keep a close eye on quality control, but we are also playing our part in supporting the local business community.

 

Minnow is a husband and wife team, Carl and Victoria Menary.
